JV's Sink South

The Bridgeport JV's continued a streak of pitching eight scoreless quarters with a 44-0 win against Parkersburg South at the Erickson All Sports Complex.

The Indians defense forced four South turnovers including two fumble recoveries from Parker Vincent and both Rowen Michaelis and Cale Culicerto picked off Patriot passes.

Zach Rohrig led an Indians ground attack that rolled up 375 yards. The sophomore accounted for 127 yards on 13 carries and scored on the game's first play on a 66 yard touchdown run. Rohrig rushed for three scores and accounted for three two point conversions.

Culicerto and Dylan Hinzman collected touchdown runs while Michaelis hooked up with Parker Vincent on a 22 yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.
