Cole Named County Coach Of The Year

Second year head coach John Cole has been named as the Harrison County Coach Of The Year as a part of the release of the All-County football team as voted on by the counties coaches and Clarksburg Exponent staff.

Cole led the Indians to the state semifinals for a second straight year before losing to eventual runner-up Bluefield.

The Indians placed four players on the first team including captain Jake Bowen, who finished his career as Harrison County's second all-time leading rusher.

D'Andre Hollaway, Michael Watkins, Cody Spring rounded out the Indians on the first team offense.

Austin Sponaugle, Carson Winkie, and Trey Pancake were named first team defense while Evan Ogden was named the first team punter.
